Grafton Extensive Bedroom Fire Damage

The converted attic into a bedroom was done by the homeowner without regard to electrical codes. The result is a significantly fire damaged room. We removed the salvageable furnishings and discarded the charred construction elements. The small amount of water that remained was suctioned up and the flooring was saved. We set up an ozone machine overnight to purge the smoky air and pungent odors from this burnt area and also the attic spaces. Working with the homeowner we economically rebuilt this bedroom since the insurance company would not cover the costs because of the non-permitted construction.
